This is a list of the events that So-Cal T's members are planning to attend in 2012.

More will be possibly be added during the year so check back.

As of today most dates haven't been set by the event organizers,

but as soon as we get more information this page will be updated.

Members' attendance at events in YELLOW is tentative, in GREEN is definite.

Sun. - Feb 19 Cruisin Grand Fund Raiser The Cruisin' Grand committee needs help with funding the event for 2012. $20.00 registration fee gets you a T-shirt and lunch. So-Cal T's will participate - Dennis has the application forms.

We will definately be attending this show all three days. As is typical of most shows, to park together we must go in together. Contact Kent for more info.
Every Friday from March 30 through the end of October Cruisin' Grand Cruisin Grand in Escondido. Come and join about 400 other pre - 1974 hotrods for an evening on Grand Avenue. Food, fun and lots of other hotrod enthusiasts. We will be there nearly every Friday.
Every Friday from April - October Samtee Lakes We try to go her a couple of times per year. Starts early, 3:00 - 7:00. You can picnic, barbeque, and bring adult beverages. Parking on the grass, 50/50 raffle, music, etc.

Nice show in Coronado. Many of us go every year. Only 400 cars allowed so sign up early.

To be Determined - (June) 24th Annual Fords & Friends Picnic Open to all makes and models. 8:00 am at the Felicita Park in Escondido
Sunday - June 24 So-Cal T's at the Del Mar Fair

This is a free show, free entrance to the fair (driver and passenger), a mounted photograph of your car, and the winner of the peoples' choice award gets additional tickets and other goodies.
We never miss it.

Meet at Denny's by the Fairgrounds at 8:00 AM

To be Determined - early July Cops and Rodders Car Show This year it will be held at Liberty Station, 2500 Historic Decatur Rd., San Diego 92106. Cars of all years, makes and models. This is a good show.
To be determined - mid July All-American Car Show XIII Mopar Club of San Diego
Event is held in Westfield Plaza shopping center, Carlsbad. We have been before, open to all years and makes.

To be Determined - Sunday, mid July All Ford Car and Truck Meet Girard Ave. in La Jolla. Open to all fords 1903 - 1985. $25 before June 30, $40 after. Corner of Girard and Silverado, contact Jeff for more info.

8th Annual So-Cal T's 101 Fun Run

Don't miss this one!
More deatils to come, but we will have daytime activities planned for Friday, ending with an evening at Cruisin' Grand in Escondido. For those who haven't been with us before, Cruisin' Grand is the local Friday night car event, that draws about 400 Hot Rods of all types from all over San Diego county, and perhaps a few from beyond. We will have reserved parking as group for all T-Buckets.


Saturday is a cruise down the coast to the Embarcadero Village where we have reserved parking on the lawn at the bay. This is an absolutely beautiful venue, and should not be missed.

For those with excess cash there is pleanty of shopping, there are restaurants for the hungry, for me there is pleanty of room to sit in either the sun or shade and watch the boats and other SCENERY go by.

We will of course have raffles and trophy's and other fun stuff.

To be Determined - Sun., early August Vista Rod Run May conflict with the Fun Run. If not, we will probably be there.
To be determined Sun., early August Main Street America Corvette Owners Club of San Diego show at the Embarcadero. Again, may conflict with the Fun Run. If not, some of us will probably be there too.
Sunday - August 19 Charger Steve's Wild Rides and Classic Car Show Garnet Ave. in Pacific Beach gets closed from Mission Blvd. to Cass St. This is a very nice show that we messed last year but will definitely attend in 2012. Click For More Info

Temecula Fall Rod Run We may make it to this one. Parking on the main street is at a premium so go early. We have met people there who park on Thursday night and cover their cars each night to have a good spot for Saturday.
Friday, November 2 and Saturday November 3 Freds Fun Run

This year the event returns to Tucson. We usually travel there as a group on the previous Monday, cruise around Tucson on our own through Thursday, and then spend Friday and Saturday doing whatever Fred has planned, and drive back on Sunday. It is a great time, nice weather, definately plan to go on this one. Essentially a full week of T-bucket fun.

We have found a trailer company in Corona that will rent enclosed trailers, so don't let lack of trailer hinder your plans. Contact Kent for more info.

Fall Goodguys at Del Mar Fairgrounds This is the second year for this event. Most of us missed it last year because we were unsure of the weather, but it turned out to be 75 degrees and sunny all three days. We will be attending this year.
