Fred's Fun Fun 2010
If anyone is interested in making the trip to Arizona for Freds Fun Run , here is a condensed version of what you will have in store for you .
SO. CAL T's INVADE ARIZONA !

The first week in November was one that will be remembered -----
Four vehicles hauling trailers with T- buckets took off Monday heading for Tucson .
Dennis & Carolyn , Jeff & Kathy , Kent , and Lynn ( driving from Tucson to So Cal back to Tucson hauling Kathys new T ) , left at 9:00 in the morning after gathering at our usual monthly meeting breakfast spot .
It was perfect weather , sunny & clear with not much wind or traffic . If you havn't traveled the roads in Arizona , your in for a real treat , the scenery is amazing .

Driving about 10 hours ( with breaks along the way ) we arrived at our hotel in Tucson , relaxed and settled in .
The hotel has more than enough parking , so we just left the trailers hooked up to our vehicles the entire time we were there . Our own portable garage , where we left our T's at night .
Lynn , our host ( lives in Tucson ) was very accommidating to our needs , he showed us some awsome sights , took us to the best eating spots , and made sure everyone was having a good time .
THANKS LYNN !
The first day there , we went to Sabino Canyon to check out the Arizona landscape up close .
The second day we took a nice drive to a nearby town for breakfast . Understand that EVERYWHERE we went we cruized in our T's . Imagine this scene --- driving on 2 lane roads , sun shining , very little traffic with the road to ourselves !
I must say that the pace in this area is quite a bit slower than in So. Cal . People are very friendly, not to mention that gas prices are about 30 cents / gal cheaper !
Taking a nice warm cruise in Nov. to a National Park is alot of fun , especially if the road is full of nice easy curves up to the mountains .
Tucson had some great sights , and after three days , we headed to Sierra Vista where Freds Fun Run was being held .
( ONE NOTE for 2011 , Freds Fun Run is being held in Tucson )
Arrived in Sierra Vista on Thurs , checked in and the activities began .
Most of the participants stayed at the same hotel , being a centalized spot for all the activities being held .

This Fun Run was hosted by Chris & Cheri Ward & the Arizona T's , they did a fantastic job of hosting and making sure everything was well planned out .
The T- buckets were out in force , 52 cars total , from Arizona and surrounding states !
Thursday night we all gathered together at the Outback Steakhouse and saw many of our friends that came to our Fun Run earlier in the year .
Friday we again gathered at Outback where the manager had breakfast & drinks ( on the house ) for us .
After organizing into 3 groups , ( 52 T's ) we headed to historic Tombstone . Spent the day here with a bbq lunch being provided by our hosts , with the option of going to another town (Bisbee ) if so desired . Everyone headed back to Sierra Vista to join in the local car show that evening . Quite a full day -- Quite a bit of fun .
Saturday was the Fun Run Car show .We met at a local 50's diner and spent the
nice sunny day with all the other T-Bucket enthusiests .
There were t- shirts , raffle prizes , an auction , and more given out . Chris had a dyno operation set up if you wanted to check out your horsepower and tourqe . ( for free )
A little while later all the gals went on a lipstick run . Oh and I forgot to mention the poker run . Just so many things to do .
Quite a fun filled 3 days of activities !
The week we spent together was something that we will never forget ! Hanging out with your friends , driving your roadster , in a place different from where we live .
The SO CAL T members that attended will all agree that we are going back this year , and we would like you to join us in an adventure you will never forget . You will not be dissapointed !
See you at the next event !
