This has been a ongoing project for 2 years now. I started in 06 with just the body which was purchased for $50.00 from a farmer in Nebraska. I spent 6 mo. gathering some parts than began the assembly. Seemed like for every part assembled I had to remake 2 to make things fit correct. About July last year I decided it was too short so I extended the frame almost 15” in the middle and 16 on the back to fit the turtle shell. I had a idea for a intake that was a little unusual and so began the 3 deuces. So far still waiting to see how well it works. Must admit this is the first and probably the last ground up I will attempt for a while at least. I want to say thanks to my girlfriend for putting up with all the parts around the house and time in the shop and always greeting me with a smile and not a frying pan. And to my good friends at SLH Fabrication for allowing me into their shop and helping me make and weld parts as well as dig thru the scrap metal bins.
